Profile:
After a period ashore dedicated to advancing my maritime expertise and serving as an instructor at a nautical college,
I am now fully committed to resuming my career at sea. I bring strengthened competencies, mature operational insight,
and a high level of dedication to my next position on board.
With approximately half a million nautical miles accumulated, I combine rigorous ocean‑going experience
with premium guest service standards acquired since joining the Superyacht industry in 2004.
My background includes extensive global navigation – multiple Mediterranean passages, ocean crossings,
and Suez Canal transits – supported by a strong foundation in seamanship and vessel management.
Throughout my career, I have held leadership roles on prestigious vessels as a Senior Officer.
This includes serving as Staff Captain on the world’s third‑largest yacht at the time (162 m LOA, 12,488 GT)
and on a 142‑metre explorer passenger vessel (10,944 GT), ensuring immediate operational effectiveness and high‑level decision‑making.
I am now actively seeking a Master/Senior Officer position on an esteemed Motor Yacht, where I can contribute long‑term value and operational excellence.
In parallel, I have successfully completed relief and delivery assignments in strategic regions such as the Persian Gulf (Qatar, UAE), Hong Kong, and Taiwan,
often navigating complex routes across the China Sea, Australian waters, and Singapore.
I also managed a high‑profile charter from the Maldives to Thailand, demonstrating strong route planning, client‑focused service, and adaptability.
Additionally, I led a comprehensive 10‑month refit project, gaining hands‑on experience in ship repair, technical oversight, and refurbishment processes.
I also have manoeuvring practices on a 65m Motor Yacht with AZIPOD propulsion and driving skills o/b over 30.000 GT Containerships.
My leadership style prioritizes strong command presence, clear communication, and structured organization to ensure optimal team performance.
I continuously refine my professional skills to uphold the highest standards expected from a Senior Officer within a modern fleet.
I possess advanced expertise in high‑precision navigation systems, surveying, dry‑docking operations, and maintenance management.
I maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of maritime regulations, ISM and ISPS requirements, and onboard cybersecurity awareness.
I bring a strong analytical mindset, proven problem‑solving abilities, and a resilient,
team‑oriented approach to achieving operational objectives while enhancing safety and performance.
Few years ago, I also developed a tailored mini-ISM system and established key procedures for a maritime consultancy office in Monaco,
enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.
Lately, I became GMDSS Simulator Instructor and contributed as well to lessons as a trainer for a nautical school close to Antibes,
including but not limited to training, conducting revalidation programs of pleasure boat licenses (coastal/offshore) and professional certifications (Captain 500 GT).
Therefore, I am open to leveraging maritime instructional skills in a shore-based role within yachting management or nautical education sectors.
For all these reasons, be sure that I consistently delivered exceptional quality work, fully meeting Owners’ expectations.
If you are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Master/Chief Officer, I am confident in my ability to be a valuable asset to your organization.
